ESL ElectroScience
was established in the Philadelphia region in 1962 to develop and
manufacture thick-film pastes for the microelectronics industry.
Today, this private and financially strong company is a world leader
in advanced materials for a wide variety of industrial and consumer
applications.
Thick-film
inks or pastes, ceramic tapes and material systems are manufactured
at ESL’s headquarters in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania and at ESL Europe (Agmet) in Reading, England
(both facilities are ISO 9001). These materials find uses in products as diverse
as cell phones, aerospace, automotive sensors, fuel cells, and domestic
hot-water heaters.
In
Asia, ESL has affiliates in Tokyo, Japan and Shanghai, China which
provide Sales and Technical Service Support, and ESL materials are
offered globally through direct sales, ESL affiliates, sales agents,
and from this web site.
